Building a Sustainable and Inclusive Mango Value Chain in Burkina Faso

Rose Eclat BF, in collaboration with its European partner Adelante Foods BV since 2020 and facilitated by SNV, is driving the establishment of a sustainable mango value chain in Burkina Faso. This initiative addresses climate and environmental challenges while fostering economic growth, job creation, and improved livelihoods for mango-producing communities. Adelante Foods BV plays a key role in sales, financing, distribution, and testing, ensuring the project’s long-term success. 

This business partnership reflects a deep commitment to sustainable development across economic, environmental, and social dimensions. By enhancing market access, promoting climate-smart agricultural practices, and improving resource management, the project drives inclusive economic growth while preserving natural ecosystems. Additionally, investments in capacity building and knowledge transfer empower local stakeholders, strengthening social cohesion and resilience. Aligned with Denmark’s development priorities for Burkina Faso, the initiative supports sustainable food systems and climate adaptation, ensuring long-term benefits for people and the environment.
