What is DMDP?

Danida Market Development Partnerships (DMDP) is a Danish partnership programme. It was designed to promote market-driven and sustainable growth and employment in developing countries in line with the priorities in the Danish Strategy for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Action “The World 2030”. DMDP had six yearly application rounds, from 2016-2021.

The programme ended as a funding opportunity in 2021 and has funded a total of 36 partnership projects in 15 different development countries. Projects are implemented up until 2026, and you can find ind the 36  DMDP projects in the map below. Hover the cursor over the country to see the list of DMDP projects.

In 2022, DMDP was succeeded by the programme Danida Green Business Partnerships.
