DGBP 2025 is now open to receive applications!
The Secretariat is delighted to announce that the 2025 application round for Danida Green Business Partnerships is now open! The deadline for submission of applications is April 22nd.
NOTE: The 2025 application round has a narrow scope in terms of thematic areas, project type and eligible countries:
- The 2025 application round is focused on projects addressing climate adaptation and resilience. This means that the projects should address challenges and solutions related to climate adaptation and this should be clearly articulated in the project objective and in the project design. Within climate adaptation, there is a specific emphasis on projects related to sustainable water management and food systems, including cooling systems.
- Only full projects will be funded through the 2025 application round. The full projects have a duration of 3-5 years and a grant budget of DKK 4-15 million. There is no funding window for maturation projects in 2025.
- Finally, the 2025 application round is focused on the following countries in Africa: Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda. Projects in other countries are not eligible for funding in 2025.
Danida Green Business Partnerships (DGBP) is a challenge fund designed to promote market-driven green transition and inclusive economic growth in developing countries in line with the Danish Strategy for Development Cooperation The World We Share. DGBP promotes both commercial and development objectives as well as it brings commercial- and non-commercial actors together in partnerships to initiate and promote commercially viable and sustainable solutions to different challenges in developing countries.
