Enhancing transition to green and sustainable economic growth in Palestine
This project focuses on advancing an ethical, export-based, and inclusive business model for the dates value chain in Palestine, promoting climate-smart solutions and responsible business conduct. It connects Palestinian producers with Danish importers and enhances Palestinian date farmers’ alignment with international standards, incorporating green practices to tackle water and energy scarcity. This project also contributes to sustainable and inclusive green economic growth as well as creation of decent jobs in Palestine.

Expected outcomes include adopting greener practices within the dates value chain, improving the quality and capacity of date production, and fostering an enabling environment for greener practices and ethical trade in Palestine and among Danish retailers.
