DGBP is open for applications!
The Secretariat is very excited to share that the successor of DMDP – Danida Green Business Partnerships (DGBP) – is now open for applications for innovative green commercial partnership.
Through the past months the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Secretariat and a range of partners have worked intensively to prepare for this exciting day where the Danish Minister for Development Cooperation Flemming Møller Mortensen has officially approved DGBP. Deadline for application is 12 September 2022.
Danida Green Business Partnerships is a challenge fund designed to promote market-driven green transition and inclusive economic growth in developing countries in line with the Danish Strategy for Development Cooperation The World We Share.
Danida Green Business Partnerships bring commercial- and non-commercial actors together in partnerships to promote sustainable green commercial solutions to challenges related to climate degradation which at the same time can promote economic development through job creation. As such a DGBP projects will promote both commercial and development objectives. The DGBP programme draws on lessons learnt from DMDP, where a total of 36 projects have been approved of which 33 is still under implementation, creating jobs and income opportunities in Danida’s partner countries.
In the ‘documents section’ you can download the DGBP application guidelines which include an overview of requirements for partnerships and support. The format for submission of Concept Notes will be uploaded very soon and will be announced at our LinkedIn page which we would be happy if you would like to follow.
We look forward to receiving your application!
